Learn More About UsPassion for Furniture
Our passion for furniture has developed over generations through ownership of antique stores and traveling the world to explore the history of furniture. From Baroque, Duncan Phyfe, Queen Anne, Rococo, William & Mary, Chippendale, Hepplewhite, Sheraton to Louis XV — it brings us great joy to restore and extend these timeless designs into the next generation.
How It Works
The Process
Strip & Repair
All finished furniture is stripped of its old lacquer or paint by hand, with the utmost care to maintain the piece's integrity. We then proceed with any repairs needed — bubbling veneers, broken spindles, cracks, and more.
Prepare & Sand
The naked wood is sanded to even out blemishes and scratches. We invite all customers to our location to be involved in the colour selection process — custom colours or matched to existing.
Finish & Lacquer
All pieces are coated with multiple layers of lacquer to build up the finish and provide durability and a beautiful satin finish. Our professional spray systems provide flawless curing of lacquers and paints.
